Opera Queensland is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Administrative Assistant for a full-time contract (maternity leave replacement) position at our offices in South Bank.

The position provides personal administrative support to the General Manager and Artistic Director of Opera Queensland, and general reception and administrative support to the Company.

The successful applicant will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to multi task and meet deadlines while still maintaining close attention to detail. Experience and competence with Microsoft Suite is required as is demonstrated aptitude and a positive, keen attitude.

The role will commence mid-May with standard office hours 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. The contract is for a period of 7 months (until December 2014), with a possibility of extension of another 5 months.
