2013 will see Brisbane productions of St Matthew Passion, Cinderella & Otello

A touring production of Waltzing our Matilda will also be performed in a number of Queensland’s regional centres. School group bookings will be available for all events and students and teachers can enjoy a range of added benefits including:

In-School Talks (Brisbane season only)

Students can learn how operas develop from conception to a fully-staged production.

Q & A Sessions (Regional Tour only)

In the regions, Q & A Sessions are available at the theatre on the day of the performance. Bookings are essential and places are limited.

Pre-performance Talks

In Brisbane, you can come 45 minutes before the start of each performance and enjoy a free talk by one of the friendly Opera Queensland team, designed to give juicy backstage insights and share knowledge of the music you’re about to hear and production you’re about to see. For details on regional tour pre-performance talks, please check with the venue.

Study Guides

A study guide is compiled for every production and available to all schools attending a performance.

Subscribe and Save

If your school group would like to subscribe to all three shows or to two shows (Otello and either Cinderella or St Matthew Passion) then consider taking out a 30 Below Subscription. 3-show subscriptions are only $155 per student and 2-show subscriptions are only $105 per student.
